Team Teen Senior Scene (TTSS) provides companionship, activities, and more!

Whom we serve

TTSS serves any senior adult 65 years old + in all 50 states who wish to have a Team Teen friend. A background check will be requested for all seniors participating but other than that there are no requirements. Each TTSS chapter provides their local assisted living and nursing home facilities with TTSS brochures and TTSS information. Certified Team Teens are matched up with a Team Senior to start the journey of bonding and bridging the gap with a Team Senior. Specialized programs are available to target every senior’s needs. A Focus on Our Seniors Needs

Our seniors are often alone or isolated due to medical needs, transportation issues, finances, etc. Visits for loneliness, activities to keep them busy, and a just a friend to talk to are just a few of the things that our TTSS Teens can provide for our Senior’s. Let’s take a look at bridging the gap between the two.

TTSS Program and Activities

Specialized Mentoring Programs-

Programs have been created to serve seniors at any place in their lives

·      Up and Active Senior Mentoring

o   These are our Team Seniors that are able to do things both at home and outside the house with their Team Teen.

·      Shut-In Senior Mentoring

o   These are our Team Seniors that are home bound and will benefit from our Team Teen Visits

·      Assisted Living/Nursing Home Facility Mentoring

o   These are our Team Seniors that are in nursing or assisted living homes that would benefit from in room visits and outings according to their needs.

Activities/ Yearly Activities held for Team Seniors

·      Winter Blues Bingo

o   A bingo day in January that brings the sunshine inside

·      My Sweet Senior Valentine

o   A red carpet Valentine event

·      Eggstravaganza

o   A springtime eggstra special dinner and games day

·      Summertime Luau BBQ

o   A luau BBQ where our teens and seniors dress in Hawaiian fashion

·      Spa Day for the Ladies

o   Team Teen young ladies pamper and get pampered with our Team Senior Ladies

·      Golf Outing for the Gents

o   Team Teen young gents go golfing with Team Senior Gents

·      It’s Fall ‘Ya All Festivities

o   A fall festival with fall food and fall activities

·      Teen Elf Christmas Caroling

o   Our Team Teens Elves go serenade our Team Teen Seniors and hand out gifts

Part of staying young is remaining active! We have numerous activities for our teens and their seniors on a rotating basis. Some of these exciting and fun activities include:
